Looking for a Safe and Affordable Power Supply Unit

I'm currently using an unrated 500W power supply with an Intel i7 7700k and a GT 1030, but it's started buzzing and it's almost six years old. I'm concerned about its safety, especially since I'm on a tight apprentice budget—ideally, I'm looking for something under £50 that won't compromise quality. I'm considering the MSI A550 or A650BN since I might upgrade my GPU soon. Any recommendations? I'm in England, so please avoid links that aren't accessible here!

You might want to check out the Cooler Master MWE Bronze 750 V3. It’s a bit higher wattage, but it’s certified and reliable. Here’s the link to it: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/wVxxFT/cooler-master-mwe-bronze-750-v3-230v-750-w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-mpe-7501-acabw-3buk.

For great quality on a budget, check out the Be Quiet! System Power 11. It’s fully wired, ATX 3.1 standard, and comes with a 5-year warranty—all for about £50. You'll struggle to find better quality at that price!

A solid pick within your budget is the Rosewill VSB-650. It's a personal favorite of mine around the $50 mark, and it'll give you some extra wattage for potential upgrades down the line. Perfect for future-proofing while keeping costs down!

If you’re leaning towards MSI, that's a solid choice for your setup. It should handle everything well, especially if you plan to upgrade your GPU.
