Looking for a Simple Tool to Monitor IPs

I'm seeking a lightweight solution to monitor the uptime of 4 specific IPs. While I know many folks use PRTG or have third-party services for monitoring, I need something much simpler. I've got WhatsUp Gold in place, but that feels like overkill for my needs. Ideally, I'm looking for something that runs on Linux and has a small footprint. Any recommendations?

Have you tried UptimeKuma? It's straightforward and does exactly what you're looking for. It tracks the IPs and will notify you if any go offline. Plus, it has a nice user interface to manage your monitored devices.

I also heard about UptimeKuma and Pulsetic, good options to explore!

Are you monitoring internal or external IPs?

I'm just looking to monitor all external IPs.

UptimeRobot.com is another great option. It's user-friendly and you can get alerts easily.

Honestly, our clients often let us know right away when they can't connect to sites like Facebook, thinking it’s an outage. It's pretty hilarious sometimes. For basic monitoring, I use PingInfoView from NirSoft. It doesn’t provide alerts, but it shows you when an IP is offline with a color-coded system.

Haha, yeah, that’s exactly what I'm trying to avoid!
