Hey everyone! I'm starting college this year, and I'm really into Python. I'm thinking about focusing on data science, but I'm struggling to find a solid learning path. I know a little bit of Python and I feel like I have a knack for data—I'm pretty good with math, statistics, and all that. I just don't know where to begin or how to progress. Has anyone got some good resources or advice for someone in my position? I really appreciate it!

As you're heading into college, it’s important to think about the specific area of data science you're interested in. There are various paths you could take, so use your college experience to explore each of them. Consider also majoring in computer science, physical sciences, or mathematics—these fields can complement your data science interests. Python is valuable across all these disciplines, so don’t worry, you’ll gain the skills needed no matter which route you choose. Best of luck! You're already ahead of the game by thinking this through now!

Thanks a lot! I'm pretty sure I'm going with the CS route since it combines everything I love, like math, data, stats, and logic.
