I've removed the screen from my laptop and want to repurpose it as a home server. The problem is that the WiFi chip was in the screen, so I'm unable to connect to the internet now. I'm in search of a USB WiFi adapter that includes an Ethernet port as well, but I can't seem to find one. Do these devices even exist?

Actually, the WiFi chip isn't in the screen; it’s usually integrated into the laptop's motherboard. You might have just removed the antenna. As for a dual-purpose USB dongle, I'd recommend getting separate devices—they work better.
If you're looking for a combined adapter, remember that they probably aren't going to be great. It might be more reliable to just use two separate adapters—one for Ethernet and one for WiFi.
I found a USB hub that also has an Ethernet port for just £12. You could use that along with a separate USB WiFi adapter to cover both bases.
You can find USB adapters that do both on Amazon, costing around $30-$60. They work well for my laptop, ensuring you get maximum speed based on your port.
Look for an Ethernet adapter that doubles as a USB hub, which lets you plug in a WiFi dongle too. It’s pretty practical!

That's a good point. Just curious if there’s anything that does both, you know?
