Looking for a User-Friendly Linux Distro for Work

I'm searching for a Linux distribution that makes my work life easier—specifically one that doesn't complicate simple tasks. Lately, I've been using Nobara, but I had issues dragging files from Dolphin to my browser for uploads. I want something reliable, ideally using X11, since I need to run espanso without any issues, and it should support NVIDIA graphics. Any recommendations for a straightforward, hassle-free distro?

I've been using Linux Mint for years with no issues. It works right out of the box for basic tasks, which is perfect for work. Plus, having other personal distros means I don't have to mess with my work setup. It's not flashy, but that’s just how I like it.

Check out Xubuntu! It uses X11 and everything works quite well right away. If you’re not looking to dive deep into configurations, you can use it just as it is.

Most distributions support X11, although they might not all default to it. I'd recommend trying an Ubuntu LTS or a distro based on Ubuntu—Linux Mint is a solid option. It's easy and straightforward for work without requiring a lot of adjustments.

How about MX Linux? It's a solid performer with a lot of tools right out of the box. It uses X11 too, and you can choose from various desktop environments like XFCE or KDE. I've found it works great across different machines.

I suggest Pop!_OS 22.04. It has an updated kernel and Nvidia drivers, plus it supports Flatpaks for newer software. Just keep in mind that if you're switching from Windows, dragging and dropping between overlapping windows can be tricky—try using the taskbar in between!
