Looking for Advice on Building a $1600 Gaming PC

Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new gaming PC with a budget of around $1600, give or take. Unfortunately, I can't use any of my old components such as a GeForce 1660, Ryzen 5 2600, or my 2x8GB RAM in a MSI B450 motherboard. I'm currently multitasking on two monitors—a 1440p and a 1080p. My current setup is really struggling to keep up, especially with the new games I want to play, like "Expedition 33." I've heard some buzz about the RX 9070 XT, but I'm open to suggestions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Here’s a build I’d suggest: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X (about $277), MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Motherboard ($223), and 32GB DDR5 RAM ($80). For cooling, a Corsair NAUTILUS 240 for $90, plus a 1TB NVMe SSD for around $62. Then grab the Gigabyte RX 9070 XT for $750. The total is about $1692. It’s a solid setup and will handle those games on both monitors beautifully!

This setup looks killer, but make sure you think about power supply options too—don’t skimp on that!

Don’t forget about the case! A Lian Li Lancool 207 for about $90 should give you good airflow and aesthetics. Plus, you’ll need a good power supply around $120 for a smooth experience. Just make sure everything fits well!

I’d recommend snagging an RTX 5070 for around $549. It should handle your setup pretty well. Plus, it's optimized for the latest games. Just make sure to circle back and let us know how it went when you build it!

Quick question—why the RTX 5070? I’ve seen it priced lower but with 4GB less VRAM, which feels like a trade-off.
