Looking for Advice on Building a Gaming PC

I'm completely new to the world of gaming PCs and I've been wanting to get one for a while now. I'm used to playing on a PlayStation, but I'm looking for something different that can run games like Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty, and Baldur's Gate 3. I'm unsure about my budget, but I'd like to keep it under $1,000 if possible, although I could stretch it if it's really worth it. Any suggestions on websites for building and what components I should consider?

Here’s a build I found that costs about $1,050 and even includes a monitor: [Link to Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/B9Nmqd). You can check this video for the gaming performance you can expect from it: [YouTube Video](https://youtu.be/rfZsw9Vvekg?si=tyswtj6u7XFKKmVw).

Check out PC Part Picker! It's a great site with many sample builds. However, I want to be honest with you - building a PC for under $1,000 can be really challenging, especially if you need to get a monitor and other peripherals.

Those games shouldn’t be too hard to run, but getting everything under $1k right now is tough, especially if you don't have a keyboard or mouse. If you have a PS4 or 5, it might be worth sticking with that since it’s hard to beat the price/performance of a PS5 right now. If you're set on a PC, consider saving up to around $1,500 for a better setup.
