Looking for Advice on Building a Pink Gaming PC for My Daughter

I want to surprise my daughter with a gaming tower for her 13th birthday in March, but I'm worried about the budget. She currently has a slow laptop that struggles with Roblox, and she's specifically asked for a pink tower with a clear side panel to see the components. I'm looking for advice on whether it's worth building her a pink PC and, if so, what components I should consider. Does anyone have suggestions on where to find these parts and tips on staying within budget?

I'm in the process of buying my first PC as well! I opted for a white case and mostly black parts and just plan to set the RGB fans to pink. Prices for RAM and SSDs are high right now, so keep that in mind when building. However, if she’s mainly playing Roblox for now, a good gaming laptop might be a more practical option. It gives her flexibility in case she wants to upgrade in the future!

If you’re looking for a pink build, you might find some pink cases in the mATX size, but parts like graphics cards or motherboards in pink are hard to come by. I’d suggest focusing on getting some good quality parts regardless of color and then using RGB lighting to make it pop. That way, even if you can't get the exact colors, you can light it up in pink!

Before you dive in, what's your budget? If you're open to it, I recommend checking out local electronics stores like Micro Center. Sometimes, they can build a custom PC in a pink case for you, which could save you some hassle. Also, don't forget to look at part picker websites where you can filter by price to find deals.

Building a pink gaming PC can be a bit tricky since pink components are really rare. The cheapest complete builds start around $600, and most pink gear will involve some DIY customization like spray painting or vinyl wrapping. If you want to keep it simpler, consider a white case and add pink accessories—stickers, custom graphics, or fun decorations inside from places like Etsy.
