I'm looking to play games like Phasmophobia and Baldur's Gate, but I have no clue what type of setup I need or how it all works. I'd really appreciate any suggestions on where to start! Also, I know gaming PCs can be pretty pricey, so are second-hand options a good idea? Thanks a ton!

I currently don't have a strict budget since I know gaming PCs can be expensive, but I’d say anywhere from £700 to £1200. I don’t own a PC at all yet and I'm starting fresh. I'm based in the UK, so I guess that's relevant too. I've played on PCs before, but I really don’t know much about building or parts.
