Looking for Advice on My Budget Gaming PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm putting together a gaming PC build and looking for some advice. My main focus is on games like Battlefield 6, Escape from Tarkov, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, along with others like MGS Delta and the Resident Evil remakes. I'm currently playing on dual 1080p 144Hz monitors but want this build to be capable of handling a single 1440p monitor at medium to high settings in the future. My preference is for higher frame rates over ultra graphics settings.

As for my budget, I'm aiming for around £1500 to £1800, and I'm flexible if it means improving performance. I'm based in the UK, and here's the list of parts I've chosen so far:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core - £390.47
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE - £32.00
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI - £139.99
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance 64 GB DDR5-5200 CL40 - £151.47
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB NVME SSD - £147.38
- **Video Card**: Asus PRIME OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB - £719.99
- **Case**: Lian Li LANCOOL 217 - £102.98
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A750GL 750 W - £89.95
- **Total**: £1774.23

Also, I've heard there might be a BIOS issue with the motherboard, so if anyone has suggestions for a better option that doesn't require a flash, I would really appreciate it! Thanks for your help!

I made some tweaks to your build. You can check it out [here](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/rzHsTM). Also, make sure your motherboard choice doesn’t require a BIOS flash for AM5. It should just be a solid board overall.

Thanks for the build! Did you upgrade the motherboard to one that doesn't need flashing, or is it just a better overall choice? Appreciate your input!

For gaming, 32 GB of RAM is really all you'll need. The rest of your build looks solid! Just make sure the RAM is around 6000 MHz CL30 for the best performance.

Thanks for the confirmation! I'm exploring options for the RAM right now.

I'd suggest checking your RAM specs. Your current choice is a bit slow, and it could impact your performance significantly. You might want to consider 32 GB of DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 RAM instead of the 64 GB you're looking at. And swap out your power supply for a Montech Century II 850W; it's higher quality and offers more power for a similar price. Don't forget you still need a case and some fans!

Got it! I completely overlooked the RAM specs, so thanks for the nudge! I’ll check out the RAM and PSU you recommended. I'm also looking into the Lian Li Lancool case since I forgot to add it here.
