Hey everyone! I'm a newbie here and I'm thinking about getting my first gaming laptop. My main goal is to play and heavily mod my favorite game, Red Dead Redemption 2. I'm not looking for anything too high-end, just something that's moderately priced. Do you think a mid-range gaming laptop could handle playing RDR2 at maximum settings while allowing me to mod it to my heart's content? Since it's an older game, I'm hoping I won't need to spend a ton, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks a lot!

Honestly, gaming laptops can struggle a bit with max settings, especially with demanding mods. I’ve got a Razor Blade Advanced, and even that doesn’t run RDR2 on max. Laptops might not give you the performance you need for extensive modding. I’m actually looking to build a desktop for better performance.
Are you going for a pre-built kit or are you planning to piece together the parts yourself?
That’s a bummer, man! What kind of setup are you thinking about for your PC?
