Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to buy parts for my first gaming PC and I want to make sure I'm making the right choices. I've done a lot of research and watched plenty of build guides, but I still want a second opinion before spending my hard-earned money. I'm planning a white-themed build around the Phanteks XT M3 case because I really love its look.
Here's what I aim to play: Valheim, GTA 6 when it drops, Fortnite, Call of Duty, ARC Raiders, plus a few upcoming titles in the next few years. Right now, I'm using a Samsung smart 1080p monitor, but I'm considering upgrading to 1440p later.
I've put together my PCPartPicker list: https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/qqyQV4, which comes to just over $3200 NZD (around $1900 USD).
I have a few main questions:
- Are these parts compatible?
- Will there be any bottlenecks or issues?
- Is there anything I should swap out for better value or performance?
- Will this setup handle 1080p gaming now and be suitable for 1440p gaming later?
I'm open to changing parts or even the case if it would improve the build or save me money. Just as a heads up, I'm located in New Zealand, so some popular parts in the US might be hard to get or overpriced here. Thanks in advance for your help!

To save around $100, you could consider switching to the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE cooler. It’s pretty efficient and should work great for your needs!
Overall, it seems like a well-rounded build! I suggest an air cooler instead of an AIO since the Ryzen 5 7500F has a low 65W TDP. If you want, check out this YouTube video that gives a good view of how these parts perform with the games you're interested in: https://youtu.be/tYypLhQ6CtA?si=eXD079hg_lyok5p2. Hope this helps!
I really appreciate the feedback! I had a feeling the AIO might be overkill. Purely an aesthetic choice, and I heard they’re easier to install!
1) Your parts look solid together. 2) No compatibility issues that I see. 3) Everything seems fine, don't feel like you need to change anything. 4) For 1080p ultra settings, you'll be great—aim for 80-100 FPS at 1440p with native, maybe even 150-170 FPS with FSR4!
Thanks for the quick response! I guess I'll start with 1080p for now and see how it goes.

Thanks for the tip! That $100 savings is significant. I initially went with an AIO cooler for aesthetics, but I might look into this one!
