I'm diving into my first PC build and could really use some opinions on the parts I've chosen. I've been saving up for six years, totaling 30,000 kr, so I want to make sure I get the best performance for my money, even if it means splurging a bit. Here's what I've picked so far:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
- **Motherboard:** ASRock Phantom Gaming X870E Nova WiFi ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 48 GB (2 x 24 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD
- **Video Card:** Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
- **Case:** Montech XR ATX Mid Tower Case
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
I'm also in the market for a monitor, so any suggestions there are welcome too! I live in Sweden and I'm really eager to hear any advice on better parts. Thanks!

I'd steer clear of the ASRock boards; they have a reputation for ruining CPUs. Better to go with something more reliable.
I would suggest swapping out the ASRock motherboard for a better option. Check out the ASUS ROG Strix X870E E-Gaming WiFi. It's on sale and will perform better for gaming. Also, consider upgrading to an 850W power supply to ensure you have enough power for all your components!
What games are you planning on playing? It feels like you’re spending a lot on the CPU but not enough on the GPU. With your budget, you could definitely get a 5080. If you're thinking about heavy gaming, that would be the way to go!
Honestly, you might not need that high-end X870E motherboard. A solid B850 board like the ROG Strix or MSI MPG would serve you well. Also, 48GB of RAM and a 4TB SSD might be overkill. You could save some cash there and get a high-end GPU like the 5080 instead.
