Hey everyone! I'm in the process of putting together a PC for my brother and could really use some advice on the components. So far, here's what we've picked out:
- **CPU:** Ryzen 5 7600X
- **GPU:** Pny RTX 5070ti 16GB
- **Motherboard:** MSI B850-P (we went for this one because we want room to upgrade in the future, even though the B650 is similar)
- **RAM:** Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 2x16GB RGB (found a decent price at $200, which is hard to beat where I live)
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A750GL
Now, I'm hunting for a case—something with a wooden style but not too pricey (the Fractal North at $160 is a bit steep for us).
What are your thoughts on these components?

I tweaked your build a bit and found a cooler setup with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an Asus TUF Gaming B850 motherboard if you want to check it out! The build comes to about $2068.42 and has some solid components like 32GB of RAM and a Kingston NV3 1TB SSD too. Let me know if you need help finding them!
Do you think I should upgrade the power supply to 850W instead?
The B650 and B850 boards are actually built on the same silicon, but the newer features on the B850, like WiFi 7 and PCIe 5, bring a lot to the table for future upgrades. It's definitely a smart choice for your build!
Yeah, exactly! I was looking for something that would last a few years and allow for upgrades, so the B850 felt right. Thanks for clarifying that!
Check out this build I put together! The case has a cool wooden design and it's super compact. Definitely worth a look if you're going for that aesthetic!
Thanks! I’ll check it out!

That sounds great! But unfortunately, I can't find the CPU you mentioned in my country. What made you choose that motherboard over the MSI one?
