I'm looking to upgrade my CPU to future-proof my setup, especially since I plan to change my GPU later. Currently, I have an i5-10400F, an RTX 3050 6GB, and 16GB of 2666MHz RAM. I'm considering options like the i5-12400F, i5-12600KF, or Ryzen 7 5700X, but I'm not sure which one would be best. I'm also planning to go with a more budget-friendly motherboard depending on my choice. What do you think?

If you're aiming to change your GPU in the future without bottlenecks, you might want to consider going with an AM5 setup. It generally offers better future-proofing.

I'm in Brazil, and right now, AM5 isn't really an option for me. I'm thinking that a solid DDR4 build would work fine for my gaming needs and I'm looking at the Arc B580 for my future GPU.
