Hey everyone, I'm on the hunt for a reliable Windows application similar to hMail that can help set up an SMTP relay, especially for older devices like printers that might not support STARTTLS. We've been using hMail for years to manage SMTP settings on various devices, but I've heard about SMTP2GO and other cloud services. I'm really interested in finding any other options that are still actively maintained and work well on Windows or Windows Server. Any recommendations?

We recently shifted our SMTP services to Windows Server 2022, since it's the last known version that supports SMTP in IIS 6. We’re also considering options like Mailpit as a potential alternative. Have you thought about heading in that direction?

That sounds like a reasonable plan. I'm trying to avoid using IIS 6’s SMTP server too. Mailpit is definitely on my list to check out!
