Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a centralized inventory solution to manage my servers and networking hardware, like firewalls and routers. I've tried a few options, but nothing seems to fit my needs without being overly complicated or pricey. Sunbird is way more than I need with its yearly plans, EasyDCIM's SNMP discovery function isn't pulling accurate info and requires a lot of manual entry, and I couldn't even get the agent to show up in GLPI despite proper server-agent communication. It would be great if the solution had an SNMP feature to reduce manual work, but what's really important is the ability to add extra information for devices, like invoices, warranties, and knowledgebase articles. Any recommendations?

Have you checked out NetBox? It’s a great tool for managing your infrastructure, though I get it can be pricey for some. Worth a look if budget allows!
Finding the right asset management tool for mid-sized infrastructures can be a real pain. Lots of DCIMs end up being overkill for what you need. I’ve seen smaller teams go for tools like Siit, which offers a lighter setup than DCIM while still handling hardware, lifecycle, and even tickets in one spot! Might be worth checking out.

Not really keen on paying $7500 a year, thanks though! :))
