Looking for Backup Solutions for My Work Computer

I usually rely on Backblaze to back up my computer and external hard drive, but my employer has denied my request to use their software on my new work machine. They've suggested using OneDrive instead, but I have some concerns. Firstly, I've faced sync issues with OneDrive before, so I prefer working directly from my physical machine. Additionally, I need to back up nearly 1TB of data, but our corporate OneDrive account doesn't offer that much space. Most importantly, I loved how Backblaze automatically handled backups without me having to remember to save files in multiple locations. Are there other backup options I can consider? Thanks!

Have a chat with your company about finding a better backup solution. It's key not to settle for just OneDrive if that doesn't work for you. Maybe they can agree on something you both can be happy with!

Well, their "solution" was to stick with OneDrive, but I’m exploring options like software that can back up automatically to a portable SSD instead.

It might be worth checking out how OneDrive functions. It can back up everything on your machine and sync to the cloud automatically. Just ensure your selected drive has enough space for everything you need. I've used it for years without losing my data, but it sounds like your needs are a bit more complex with that much data.

That’s the issue, though—I have almost 1TB spread across multiple drives. Can I set it up to use multiple physical locations, so some files back up to my PC's OneDrive while others go to an external HD?
