I recently installed Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1 to try and move away from Windows 10. Unfortunately, I've had a lot of trouble with both Xorg and Wayland. With Xorg, my wallpaper looks blurry on my main monitor because it based the settings on my smaller monitor—I've tried over ten solutions, but nothing seems to work. On the other hand, Wayland has its own issues, like missing Polish letters and display settings that reset every time I boot up. It's really frustrating! Is this a common issue with Linux, or is it just specific to Mint? Can anyone recommend a user-friendly distro that actually works with dual monitors? I'm considering Fedora, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Bazzite.gg is also worth a look. It's designed to be very plug and play, which could save you some headaches!
You can use xrandr to set your primary monitor, which might fix the wallpaper issue. If that doesn't help, consider experimenting with other desktop environments Mint offers or just go with Kubuntu. Some gaming-focused distros could also be worth a shot if you're into that!
You might want to try Kubuntu 25.04, KDE Neon, or Ultramarine Linux with KDE. KDE generally has better support for Wayland compared to other desktops, which might help with your dual monitor setup.
Check out the distro selection page on our wiki for more options! It's always good to take regular backups and try things out in a VM before making big changes. Remember to learn about commands you're using to avoid any mishaps!
Which one of those would you suggest trying first?
