I'm managing a mixed environment with about 85% Macs, 10% Windows, and 5% Chromebooks. Right now, we're using JAMF Pro and JAMF Protect, but we've run into some reliability issues with device wiping. I'm searching for alternative solutions that can effectively manage both MacOS and Windows devices, with ChromeOS support being a bonus. Since we relied on JAMF Protect for endpoint security and antimalware on our Macs, we need a good replacement for that too. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

JAMF is really the gold standard for managing Macs, so switching might not be the silver bullet you're hoping for. Could you clarify what specific issues you’re facing with the device wiping process?
Honestly, I don't think switching to a different management platform will solve the device wiping issue since it usually just sends the same MDM wipe command. We’re using a combination of Jamf and Intune at our place. Jamf is solid for Macs, but Intune has been stepping up its game for Mac management too recently, and you can integrate Microsoft Defender for security as well.
The go-to solutions nowadays are definitely Intune and Jamf. We implemented Vanta for endpoint security last year, and it’s been running smoothly for us.
We've been having trouble pinpointing why the wipes aren't going through. Sometimes, our IT lets employees keep their devices after they leave as part of their severance. We’ve seen wipe commands take forever, even with all conditions met (like being online and unlocked). We end up canceling any failed commands before trying again, but it still doesn’t work well.
