Hey everyone! I'm in the process of putting together a budget PC build and could really use some help. Here's what I'm thinking for the specs:

- **CPU**: AM4 AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (6 cores, 12 threads)
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B550M Gaming X WiFi (supports AM4 and WiFi 6E)
- **RAM**: TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z, 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16
- **GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB (looking at used options, brand can vary like Zotac or MSI)
- **Storage**: Miphi MP500G4 1TB NVMe M.2 Gen4 SSD (speeds up to 5100 MB/s)
- **Power Supply**: Antec G650 650W 80+ Gold Semi-Modular PSU
- **Case**: Antec CX800 ARGB (comes with 3 pre-installed fans)
- **CPU Cooler**: AMD Stock Wraith Stealth (might upgrade later if needed)

This setup is aimed at playing mostly FPS games like Valorant and CS2, maybe some story-driven games and GTA, plus a bit of video editing. Any advice or suggestions on these parts? Thanks!

I've gotta say, 8GB of VRAM might be cutting it close for anything beyond 1080p. You might want to consider looking at a 3080 instead. I picked one up used for around $300, which isn't much more than what the 3070 Ti usually costs!

I don't completely agree with that. It really depends on the game. Many titles at 1080p on high settings use under 8GB, and even at 1440p High, you often don’t exceed 9GB. Unless you're going over the VRAM limit too much, your PCIe bus can handle swapping the necessary assets just fine. But yeah, if you can find a 3080 at a good price, it’s worth considering. Used 3070 Ti's are about $275-$299 on eBay right now, so for a little more, you could also check out a 9060 XT 8GB which offers better features and improved ray tracing at a lower power draw.
