Looking for Budget-Friendly PC Components After Frequent BSODs

I've been dealing with a lot of BSODs on my work PC lately, and it's really impacting my productivity. After experiencing about half a dozen crashes daily, I need to make a move. It seems like the issue could be related to my RAM or HDD, with messages about KERNEL and critical processes popping up. I'm ready for a fresh start, and upgrading to Windows 11 is important for security purposes. Currently, I have a pretty old Be Quiet case (maybe an 801). I'm considering new components like a Ryzen 5 5600XT, MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus ATX motherboard, a Crucial P310 SSD (500GB, M.2 2280), and Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM (2x8GB, DDR4 3200MHz) for about 500 euros, but I'm open to spending more and possibly adding a GPU later. Any insights would be really appreciated, especially since I'm in a bit of a rush! My current setup is an i7 4790K.

Those components you're eyeing look solid! Just a heads up: if you're planning to reuse your current GPU, confirm that it works well since the Ryzen 5600XT doesn’t have an integrated GPU. Also, think about the power supply—if it’s faulty, that could be what's causing your BSODs too!

I hadn’t considered the power supply might be the issue. I do have a GPU from a couple of years ago that I had to remove because it seemed problematic. Without an integrated GPU, I'm really stuck, right? I guess I'll have to hunt for something on the secondary market.

First off, if you have access to another PC, you should consider making a USB flash drive with MemTest86+ to test your RAM. If the RAM checks out, you might want to look for a replacement motherboard that supports DDR3. DDR4 prices can be quite steep right now! Check the MemTest website for the latest version.

I don't have another desktop unfortunately. Any RAM tests I can do directly?
