I'm in search of a budget-friendly PC build that can run games like Call of Duty and Battlefield at 1440p resolution. I'm not focused on ray tracing or visual aesthetics—I just want to maximize my frame rates for FPS gaming. I live in Canada, so if anyone has experience with a similar build that can handle 1440p on a budget, please share your setup. Thanks in advance!

You might want to look at second-hand options like an i9-9900K paired with an RTX 2080 Ti. Those can still pump out good performance at reasonable prices if you hunt in the right places.
A budget build that can hit 1440p with high FPS can be tricky these days. It’s all about finding the right balance between cost and performance. You might want to check out this recommended build: [PCPartPicker link]. It has parts that should do well for what you're looking for.
I'd suggest considering a mini PC setup with a good external GPU (eGPU). That's what I opted for and it's worked beautifully for 1440p gaming!
How do you define 'high FPS'? And what's your budget here? Just trying to get a clearer idea before suggesting anything specific.

My budget is around 2000 CAD, and I have a 165Hz monitor, so I'm aiming for as high FPS as possible.
