Hey everyone! I've got a Thermalright FC140 CPU cooler paired with my new 9800X3D processor, and I'm seeing idle temperatures around 41°C. During intensive stress tests, like the OCCT Extreme, my temps spike to 95°C, which is pretty concerning. I currently have two intake fans installed at the front of my Fractal R7 XL case and two exhaust fans at the back along with two at the top. I'm considering whether switching to a Royal Pretor (which has 130mm fans and 6 heat pipes) or a Phantom Spirit Evo/SE (with 120mm fans and 7 heat pipes) would help improve my thermals. What do you all think?

Honestly, stressing your CPU to get the lowest temps isn't always the best approach. What do your temps look like when you're actually using your PC for regular stuff like gaming? That’s what really matters in day-to-day use.
Are you mostly going to be using your PC for stress tests? If not, you might want to focus on finding a cooler that does well under normal usage instead. If you're considering upgrades, both coolers you mentioned could offer benefits, but make sure to check reviews on real-world performance as well!
