I'm using a laptop with an Intel HD 520 GPU and a Core i5 6300U. I've been using Fedora and Zorin OS for the past five months, but I can't seem to match the gaming performance I had on Windows. I've tried various solutions, but nothing seems to improve the gaming experience. I'm looking for a Linux distribution that works well with secure boot enabled since my BIOS is locked. Any suggestions?

Switching distros might not necessarily improve your performance. It could be worth troubleshooting your current setup first.
Have you considered Bazzite? It's known for better gaming performance with Proton. Cachyos is another one that’s nice for a rolling release, but remember, it's not the same as unstable; it can actually be faster in games! But keep in mind that if your UEFI is locked, Cachyos won’t work without disabling secure boot.
You might want to stick with your current distro and just check your settings! Sometimes tweaking configurations can yield better results without switching.
