Looking for Extra Tips on Staying Safe Online

I'm really into keeping my online presence as anonymous as possible. Right now, I'm using Proton VPN, Google Authenticator, and the Brave browser on my iPhone. Even with these tools, I still feel uneasy like it's not enough and I might be more at risk than I should be. Can anyone share additional strategies for improving my online safety and security? I admit I'm a bit paranoid about it!

Hey, I specialize in online security! Just make sure you're using strong, unique passwords everywhere, and maybe look into a password manager if you haven’t already.

Honestly, no one can be 100% anonymous online, but you're on the right track with your tools. Google Authenticator is more for safe logins than anonymity, though. Ask yourself, who or what are you worried about? Most people don’t need to be that concerned unless they’re doing something super controversial.

If paranoia is a big issue for you, consider learning more about operational security (opsec) and maybe using services like 'Delete Me' to scrub your info from data brokers. It's also helpful to compartmentalize your online activities to minimize risk. But remember, governments aren't tracking you unless you're doing something that catches their eye—so try to chill a bit!

You're probably right, but with all this political stuff going on, it just feels necessary to take extra precautions.

Just a heads-up: owning an iPhone can limit your anonymity since Apple collects data. If total privacy is your goal, consider using Android with a custom ROM or explore alternatives that prioritize privacy.

Have you tried using the Tor browser? It can offer more privacy compared to regular browsers, but it might not be the best experience on iPhone. Still, it's worth considering if you're serious about anonymity.

Well, Tor on iPhone has its limitations, so keep that in mind if you're looking for browsing security.
