I'm about to make a pretty big purchase for my first 4K gaming build, and I really want to ensure I'm getting the best parts for my budget. Here's what I have so far, and I'm curious if there's anything you'd suggest changing. Any tips or recommendations would be super helpful! I'm planning to play at 4K resolution and I'm considering either the LG C4 42" or the upcoming LG 39" 5k2k, which is expected to drop in Q4 this year. I don't play competitive FPS games, but I do enjoy casual gaming, and I recently got a PSVR2 for PC, so I'll definitely be diving into some PCVR as well.

Honestly, you might not need that high-end CPU for 4K gaming. The RTX 5070 Ti might struggle with pure rasterization at 4K. A better option could be to go for something like the 5080 or even the 4090 if you want to future-proof your build. That said, if you're okay playing with lower settings sometimes, it could still work for you!
I think he's on the right track with what he's selected. You could still get by with the current setup as long as you manage expectations!
You've got a solid list, but you could cut some costs without sacrificing too much performance. What are your thoughts on tweaking any of the parts? Maybe there are cheaper alternatives.
I've been thinking about that. Any specific suggestions on which parts I could downgrade?
Yeah, I'd like to know too; it’d be helpful to squeeze a little more out of the budget!
Wait, you got the PSVR2 working on PC? That's awesome! Why not just go for a Quest though? It might be easier to set up and has great wireless capabilities.
Yeah, I had a PSVR2 already! I got an adapter for about $80 to make it compatible with PC. I've heard the image quality is better compared to other options.
I see your point, but I think he's just aiming for decent performance over 60fps; that's not too bad for a couple of years.
