Hey there! I'm getting ready to build my first PC, targeting a mid-high range setup for under $1100 that can handle AAA games at 144+ FPS. Here's the current outline of my build:
- **Case:** Montech Air 903
- **Motherboard:** MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk WiFi Edition
- **CPU:** Ryzen 5700X (with Peerless Assassin cooler)
- **GPU:** 9060XT
- **Power Supply:** Thermaltake GF1
- **RAM:** 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance (from my previous PC, but I'm open to suggestions)
- **SSD:** Samsung 990 Pro 2TB (also from a previous build)

The current price is about $909.84 before tax. I'd really appreciate any insights, recommendations, or feedback on this setup. Thanks a ton!

I'm working on a PCPartPicker list too! Quick question though: do you want RGB lighting in your build?

Not really, I kinda hate RGB, lol.

I'd suggest leaning towards AM5 for your build if you're starting fresh. It will give you a better path for future upgrades since AM4 is nearing the end of its life. Your GPU can handle around 60 FPS at 1440p, but you'll definitely need to consider upgrading your RAM and maybe even your CPU and motherboard for AM5 compatibility. Look into some solid options there!

What CPU and motherboard do you think would be best?
