Looking for Feedback on My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build my first PC and could really use some advice on the components I've selected. My main uses will be video editing, music production, and gaming—specifically Rust. I'm playing at 1080p with a 144hz refresh rate, and it's crucial for me that Rust runs smoothly. Do you think the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D might be overkill for 1080p gaming? Also, given the current situation with RAM prices, is it worth it to invest in 32 GB? Here's the build I've put together: [link to build] Thanks a bunch for any insights!

For the RAM, unless you're dealing with super heavy lifting in editing, 32 GB might be overkill. But if you want to future-proof your setup a bit or do a lot of multitasking, spending the extra cash could be worth it. Just make sure you check compatibility with your motherboard!

Yeah, definitely check that! It's all about how you plan to use it. If you’re often running multiple programs at once, having that extra RAM could really help.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is definitely powerful for 1080p, but it will help with lower frame times and fewer frame drops, especially in CPU-heavy games like Rust. If you're doing video editing, sticking to a strong CPU is wise. If you'll need Nvidia for your editing software, consider switching to a 5060 Ti with 16 GB instead for a balance between performance and cost. I'd say go with what suits your overall usage best!

I get that the price difference can be a concern. The 5060 Ti is a solid option if you're looking to save some cash while still getting decent performance for both gaming and editing.
