Hey everyone! I've been researching and putting together a potential PC build and would love to get your feedback on it. Here's the link to my proposed build: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zhvMKq](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zhvMKq). I'm particularly looking for advice on whether I've chosen any brands with a notorious fail rate, and any other general thoughts you might have. Thanks a ton for your help!

I think your GPU might not match well with your build. You're better off dropping the CPU to a 9600X and upgrading to a 9070XT or 5070TI; they'll provide better performance without changing your budget.
Quick questions for you:
- What do you plan to use this PC for? Gaming, productivity, or both?
- Do you have a case already? Are there other components you're bringing over? Or is this a complete build?
- Any need for a blu-ray writer or optical drive?
- Just checking, are you based in the US since you're using the US site for PCPartPicker?
- What's your budget, by the way?
This will mainly be used for productivity in Blender, Unity, and various Adobe programs, along with gaming. It's a completely new build since I've been using a laptop for years. The optical drive is just for installing Windows and a few media, but I'm not into getting a blu-ray writer. And yes, I'm in the US with a budget of $3000, which includes a monitor.
Honestly, a dedicated sound card isn't really necessary these days—onboard Realtek sound has come a long way. Other than that, your build looks pretty solid!
Got it, thanks for clarifying!
Totally agree! The best audio improvement these days is to keep it USB. It helps with interference from other components.
That's interesting, thanks for the tip!
