Looking for Free Resources to Learn BASIC for TI-83 Plus

I'm a complete beginner to coding, and I'm interested in learning BASIC to program my Texas Instruments 83 Plus graphing calculator. I believe it would be a fun project! However, I'm struggling to find any free resources or websites that can help me learn. Most of the information I find is focused on the TI-84 Plus. Also, I cannot use YouTube for learning. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you bought your TI-83 Plus, there might be a site where you can get 6 months free access to some online tools. I’m not sure if that’s an app or a website, though—don't quote me on that!

Unfortunately, I rediscovered this old calculator and I’m not sure if the free access is still available or when it starts. Thanks for the info!

You should check out ticalc.org! They have a section specifically for the TI-83 Plus. As far as I remember, both the 83 and 84 are programmed similarly, so any resources you find for the 84 should mostly work for the 83 as well.

Just a heads up, I’m using an iPad, so I can’t download anything on my calculator right now. That’s why I want to learn the language directly. But thanks for the suggestion!
