Looking for Fun and Engaging Coding Courses

I'm really interested in learning how to code, especially front-end development, but all the courses I've seen so far have been super boring 😩. I don't want to give up because I'm good with tech stuff, and I think learning development could really give me a safety net in life. The pay and benefits in this field look amazing, plus the flexibility of remote work means I could live anywhere as long as I have my laptop and internet. Does anyone know of any fun courses or resources that could help me get started? Thanks! 🙏🏽

Have you thought about what kind of projects would excite you? Sometimes working on a personal project you care about can make the learning process much more engaging.

It's great that you're eager to learn! Just keep in mind that while benefits and pay look enticing, it really depends on how good you are at coding. This isn’t the early 2000s anymore; you need a solid skill set to compete. If you're genuinely interested in building web applications, I'd recommend checking out Brad Traversy's tutorials—he covers a lot of useful stuff in an engaging way.

Honestly, programming can be a bit dry, especially what you're seeing in those courses. What you’re learning likely reflects the actual work that programmers do, which isn’t always exciting. If you don’t find coding appealing now, it might not change even with fun courses. Just something to think about!

You might want to give Exercism a try. It’s a platform that focuses on coding exercises, and many users find it more interactive and fun than traditional courses!

Honestly, if you’re not feeling the vibe for programming, maybe reconsider. No fun course will make you enjoy something you're not interested in. It’s all about passion!
