Hey everyone! I'm getting back into the world of PC upgrades after a long break. I've been gaming on my trusty GTX 1070 since it launched back in 2016/17, and while it's served me well, I think it's time for an upgrade. I've noticed there are tons of new NVIDIA graphics cards out now, but I haven't kept up with the latest releases. So, I'm wondering: with a budget of around £500, what would be the best NVIDIA card for me? I'm not really into playing the latest AAA titles and I don't care much about Ray Tracing. I just want a good card that can last, similar to how the 1070 used to perform. Thanks for any help!

If you're not concerned about Ray Tracing, I'd actually suggest looking at AMD cards! For about £500, you can score a 9070 or even a 9070XT for around £550. They're great options for that budget.

Okay, thanks! I’ll definitely check out the AMD cards too. I’ve never thought much about them, maybe that’s been a mistake.
