I've had my prebuilt PC for about three years now, and I'm considering upgrading my GPU or possibly selling it and building a new one from scratch. I'm mainly focused on content creation and competitive gaming. My current setup is decent, but I think it's time for an upgrade. Here are my specs:
- ASRock Motherboard (not sure of the model)
- Intel i7-13700F
- NVIDIA RTX 4060 (thinking about upgrading to a 4070 Ti or Ti Super)
- 32GB DDR4 RAM
- 2TB Storage
I would love any thoughts or recommendations on what to do next!

Before jumping on a 4070 Ti or the Super version, consider where you're getting it from. If you're looking at getting one used, just be careful with the pricing—it can be a bit high right now. You might want to think about current-gen cards instead, as they often give better value for your money.
Honestly, $700 seems a bit pricey for a 4070 Ti Super. With that said, if you're in the US, I’d recommend aiming for a 5070 Ti—it offers about 15% more performance and better overclocking potential for a similar price. Your i7-13700F is already a solid CPU, so I’d stick with that for now and consider upgrading later if needed. It's great for both gaming and content creation!
Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely check out the 5070 Ti.
I plan to buy it used from a friend’s coworker for $700. If I pass on the 4070, what current-gen card would you suggest?
