Looking for Guidance on Upgrading My Old PC

I've been facing several issues with my old PC including problems with the motherboard, the case's power button, my CPU, and I recently replaced my PSU with an RMe RM750e from Corsair. Additionally, my performance has been lacking for quite some time when playing newer and more demanding games. It's been over five years since I last upgraded, and I really need some advice on how to proceed. My budget is around $800, but some relatives have offered to chip in, and I plan to save more this summer for additional upgrades. I'm interested in building a PC that can run current games effectively and last for at least another year or two. I would really appreciate suggestions on which parts to keep and what to upgrade, as I'm definitely looking to replace my CPU, motherboard, and case. Here's a rundown of my current components:

- EVGA Geforce RTX 3060 TI
- Gigabyte Tech motherboard, b560 DS3H AC-Y1
- 16GB (2x8GB) T-Force Vulcan RAM
- RMe Series RM750e ATX PSU
- Intel Core i5 11400F CPU
- WDC WDS100T2B0C-00PXH0 SSD
- Deep Cool cooling system (might need a replacement)

Thanks in advance for any help!

The SSD you have is a WD SN550 1TB, which is actually a decent storage option. For upgrades, consider going with the Intel i5-12600KF paired with a B760 motherboard and a new GPU like the RX 7900. This combo would let you reuse your DDR4 RAM, case, SSD, and your new PSU. Just ensure your CPU cooler is compatible with the new LGA1700 mounting if you want to keep it.

Just make sure your RAM is DDR4 3200MT/s to fully utilize the 12600KF, but you might need a Z790 motherboard for overclocking capabilities!

If you're looking to save some cash, consider the Micro Center AMD Bundle. It’s a great budget-friendly option, and you might find some solid deals there!
