I'm planning my first PC build and have a budget of $2000. I don't have much experience, but my dad can assemble it for me. I'd love some advice on the best parts to buy since I'm pretty clueless. I'm into gaming, and usually play titles like Arc Raiders, COD, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, and Elden Ring. I also have a 4K 120Hz monitor, so I'm not sure what graphics card would be best to use. Is the 5080 a good choice?

If you can get a 5080 FE at MSRP, then it’s possible within your budget. Otherwise, look into a prebuilt with a 5070 Ti to get the best value.
For a solid $2000 build, I suggest these parts:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- CPU Cooler: Arctic liquid freezer 3 240mm AIO
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF gaming B850 plus wifi
- RAM: G.SKILL Flare X5 Series DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MT/s
- SSD: Acer Predator GM7000 1TB or Teamgroup MP44L 1TB
- GPU: Consider the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti 16GB or a RX 9070 XT 16GB
- PSU: Adata XPG core Reactor 2 850W or a Corsair RM850x
- Case: Lian Li vector V100R
After selecting these parts on PC Part Picker, you can adjust things as needed to fit your budget.
The 5080 is at the high-end, but keep in mind your monitor might limit its performance since you play a lot of FPS games. If you find a 5080 at MSRP, go for it, but there are decent prebuilt options like a 5070 Ti for around $1800 at Walmart or a 9070 XT for about $100 less at Microcenter, usually with a 9800X3D.
What currency are you using? That makes a big difference!

Definitely consider the 7800X3D or 9800X3D with either a 5070 Ti or 9070 XT. Fitting a 5080 in might compromise other parts too much.
