Looking for Help to Improve Game Instructions: What Do You Think?

I've created some simple browser-based minigames that are similar to CAPTCHAs, but I've been getting feedback that my instructions are confusing and need improvement. Instead of making guesses, I thought it would be better to ask for your input on how to make the captions clearer. The games can be found at capycap.ai, but I'm only focusing on enhancing the wording here, so no ads or signups involved. I'd appreciate it if you could vote for the captions or suggest better ones for the following games:

**Game 1: Dots → Green Circle**
Current Instruction: "Click and hold to attract nearby dots into the Green Circle."
Option 1: "Click and hold to attract dots. Keep holding to drag them into the green circle."
Option 2: "Hold to collect dots, then drag them into the green circle."
Which one makes more sense or is less confusing?

**Game 2: Carrot on a String**
Current Instruction: "Drag and hold the top of the string to guide the carrot into the colored shape."
Option 1: "Hold the top of the string to guide the carrot. Keep it inside the colored shape to finish."
Option 2: "Dangle the carrot from the string and hover it inside the colored shape until the timer fills."
Which one really explains what the player needs to do?

**Game 3: Stacking Blocks**
Current Instruction: "Drag and stack the blocks on top of each other on the platform."
Option 1: "Drag the blocks and rest them on top of each other to build a tower."
Option 2: "Gently place all three blocks into a vertical stack on the platform."
Are these too long or still confusing? Feel free to be brutally honest, as I really want to improve my user experience.

You know, referencing Mario Party is a great idea. They do a fantastic job of using visuals to convey game mechanics quickly. Many players skip the text instructions entirely and just watch the demo. Maybe consider adding some animations or images to showcase how to play? It's all about that 'monkey see, monkey do' mentality!

Exactly! If players have to read a bunch of text, it's likely they’re already losing interest.

Just a heads up, it’s a bit surprising to see a paid service asking for free content help here. Maybe consider investing in professional QA or content creators? Just saying!

I think they are just looking for crowd-sourced ideas to improve; that can sometimes be a valid approach too!

For the first game with the dots, I’d recommend going with a tweak of option 1: "Click and hold anywhere to attract the dots, then drag them all into the green circle without letting go." This makes it clear that you shouldn't release the click, which is where a lot of users get confused thinking they have to click each dot separately. I've tested something similar on my site, and adding the "without letting go" part cleared up most of the confusion!

Totally agree! That little detail can make a huge difference in understanding the game mechanics.
