Hey everyone! I recently attended a webinar hosted by Datadog in collaboration with AWS. They discussed Bits AI and how it improves observability, along with a spotlight on their Cloud Cost Management solution that also utilizes Bits AI. I'm curious to hear from any Account Administrators or FinOps Specialists here—what's your experience with Datadog's Cost Management tool? Is it worth the investment? What kind of savings have you observed while using it? Thanks in advance!

I'm also interested in this. From what I've seen, it can be quite pricey and seems more focused on providing cost insights rather than generating actual cost savings. I found it valuable four years ago at a previous job, but I'm not sure it holds up the same way now. Wiz does offer some cost management reports, but they appear more compliance-driven and less actionable. If only there were more self-hosted or open-source tools out there! Let’s keep exploring available options for cost observability.
Yeah, it seems like most of the good tools are locked behind Enterprise level pricing, unfortunately.
