No WiFi Option After Fresh Windows 11 Install – Need Help!

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind here. I just installed Windows 11 on my PC and skipped the 'Connect to the internet' step during setup using the OOBEBYPASSNRO command. Now, I'm facing a huge issue: there's no WiFi option available at all. It's like my PC doesn't even recognize there's a WiFi card. I've checked Device Manager and only see the Ethernet option, but no WiFi adapter. My motherboard is the ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi, and I've made sure the antenna is connected. I've tried restarting the PC, looking for drivers on the ASUS site, and checking BIOS settings, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else dealt with this or know what might be going on?

Check Device Manager to see if there are any unknown devices listed. If you see anything labeled 'Unknown', that's probably your missing WiFi adapter. You might need to install drivers manually if Windows isn't picking them up automatically.

I do see some unknown devices in there, but I tried connecting via LAN and updated everything, and still no WiFi driver. Maybe the ASUS website is just down for now.

Honestly, I think it’s most likely just a driver issue and not related to the command you used during the installation. Sometimes the drivers can just get messed up during the process. If you confirm that your WiFi card was working before, focus on getting those drivers reinstalled.

It sounds like you're missing the WiFi drivers. You should try to get a WiFi driver from the manufacturer's website. If your board has a wired connection available, plug it in and let Windows Update find the missing drivers for you. Sometimes that does the trick!

I tried that too, but Windows Update didn't find anything either. Maybe I’ll have to manually download the drivers if I can find them.
