Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade from my old setup (i7-4790/GTX980) since it's really struggling with newer games like Path of Exile 2. I want to build a new PC for under $2000 CAD and avoid purchasing parts from too many different sources. Here's my current build list: [PCPartPicker Link]. If you see any issues or have suggestions for better components within my budget, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

I’d be cautious about the cooler setup for an x3d chip; it might not handle the heat well enough. Just something to keep in mind!
It looks like you're spending too much on the CPU and too little on the GPU. The 7800X3D is a great chip, but it might make you settle for the 7700XT instead of getting something newer. I'd swap that out for something like the 5070, which outperforms the 7700XT by about 42% in regular games and up to 85% in ray tracing! Plus, it has DLSS4, which really enhances picture quality compared to FSR3. Oh, and don't worry about the BIOS update warning; your motherboard supports USB flashback, so you can update without needing a previous CPU. Check my recommended build here: [New Build Link].
Gotcha! I should clarify, the Motherboard/RAM/CPU are a bundle for $799.
Anything else you’d suggest? Is it worth spending a bit more for water cooling?
