Hey everyone! I have to admit, I'm not as new to coding as I claim, but honestly, it feels like I'm starting from scratch after taking a six-month break. I'm eager to refresh my knowledge and dive into the basics again. I've registered on platforms like Reddit, GitHub, Kaggle, and LeetCode, but I'm curious about the best learning resources to focus on right now. Specifically, I'm targeting Data Science and learning Python. I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Check out DataDucky! It has a ton of courses and challenges specifically tailored for Python, SQL, and R that can help you get more hands-on with data science.
I'd suggest picking just one platform and sticking with it instead of trying to find the 'best' one. I learned programming from this old book I found for cheap – it might not have been the latest, but I read it multiple times and typed out all the examples. That helped me a lot!
Totally agree! Manually typing out the code really helps in understanding it better compared to just copying and pasting.
That sounds interesting! I appreciate the advice, thanks!
If you enjoy reading, try "Learning Scientific Programming with Python" or "An Introduction to Statistical Learning - with applications in Python". The latter is free and a great resource! You might find it really helpful.

Awesome! I’ll definitely give that a try, thanks!
