Back in my college days, we relied on Norton Ghost to quickly rebuild machines for each class, ensuring we started fresh without leftover issues. I've used Macrium Reflect on Windows for similar tasks and currently use Timeshift since switching to Linux Mint. However, Timeshift doesn't meet my needs for this purpose. I'm on the lookout for Linux applications that can perform similarly to Norton Ghost. Ideally, I want a solution that lets me boot from a flash drive and restore from an image saved on another internal drive. Any suggestions?

I highly recommend CloneZilla. It's a powerful tool for disk imaging and cloning, very similar to what you've used with Norton Ghost. It's got a bit of a learning curve, but it definitely fits the bill for what you're looking to do!
I've heard about CloneZilla; could you explain what it specifically does? I'm not entirely clear on its capabilities.
