Hey everyone! I've been into PC gaming for about a year now. I currently have an ASUS monitor, which is decent, but I'm looking to upgrade. I'm really interested in getting a 27-inch monitor and my budget is around £300. I've come across a few options: the LG UltraGear 27GS60F-B.AEK, MSI MAG 274QF X24, ASUS VG279QM, and Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor - AW2723DF. Are you thinking about gaming at 1080p or 1440p? Just a heads-up, two of the monitors you listed are 1080p and the others are 1440p. It really depends on what resolution will suit your needs best.
I’d recommend going with a 2K monitor if you can! I don’t play fast-paced shooters either, mostly survival games like Dune and Sons of the Forest. I think a higher resolution can really enhance the visuals for those types of games!
