Hey everyone! I'm building a new PC setup and need some advice on choosing the right motherboard. Here are my components:

- **GPU:** XFX Swift RX 9070XT for $825
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d
- **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) with 6000MHz frequency
- **SSD:** WD Black SN850X 2TB NVMe SSD with 7300MB/s speed
- **PSU:** Chieftec Vega M PPG-850-C, 850W, 80+ Gold
- **PC Case:** Chieftec Apex Lumo
- **CPU Cooler:** DeepCool AK620 Digital
- **Monitor:** Xiaomi 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi with 200 Hz refresh rate

I'm choosing between the following motherboards:
- Asus ROG Strix B650E-I Gaming WiFi — $257.06
- Gigabyte B850 Gaming WiFi6 ATX — $169.43
- Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi — $216.17
- ASRock B650M PRO RS WiFi — $134.37
- Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite Ax Ice — $192.80
- Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wifi — $222.01
- ASUS B850 MAX Gaming WIFI W — $163.59

I've also seen some ASRock options that seem risky due to rumors of them frying the x3d chips. What do you all think?

You’ve got plenty of room in your case, so go for an ATX board. The ASRock Pro RS WIFI is a great value, but I’d say there's some risk there. The Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite Ax Ice is visually appealing if you want a clean white look. However, my top pick is the Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WIFI. It has the best build quality and features, and it’s worth the extra cash!

For the best overall option, I recommend the Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wifi. It's a full-size ATX board, supports PCIe 5.0 for future upgrades, and has excellent power delivery for your Ryzen 7 7800X3D. If you want to save some cash, the Gigabyte B850 Gaming WiFi6 is also a solid choice.

Just a heads-up, I noticed that your selections include a mix of form factors. Since you have an eATX case, are you okay with smaller motherboards taking up space in a larger case?

I’m open to a different case if it means better compatibility. I picked this one mainly for the cooler's size, but it's good to keep all options in mind!

I’d skip the more expensive B650 boards. I've heard mixed things about ASRock and their issues with X3D CPUs, so I’d suggest going for the B850 MAX Gaming WIFI since it’s more reliable for your build.

I remember a video where a YouTuber mentioned that ASRock fixed the frying issue with the X3D CPUs, but it’s worth considering the risk.
