Hey all! I'm looking to upgrade my PC's storage because I'm currently stuck with two HDDs and an old SATA SSD that's about 10 years old. It's really holding me back in terms of space and speed. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the options available like TLC vs QLC and whether I need DRAM or not, so I'd love to get some solid recommendations. My budget is around 50 to 75 euros, and I usually check prices on Amazon Italy. Thanks in advance!

You might want to consider the WD Blue SN5000 as a solid choice. Just steer clear of QLC drives like the UD90 if you can!
I recommend looking at the Teamgroup G50 or the WD Blue SN580. Just a heads up, avoid the UD90 because it uses QLC, which isn’t the best for performance in the long run.
For what you’re looking to do, most NVMe drives will perform quite similarly, so you won't notice huge differences. If you're after recommendations, check out this helpful flowchart that might guide you: [link]. Anything from mid-range should suit your needs just fine!
Thanks for sharing that link! I'll definitely take a look before making a choice.
Check out this combo I found on PCPartPicker: Silicon Power UD90 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe Drive, it’s currently around €60.99 on Amazon Italy, which fits right into your budget! It should provide a good balance of performance and cost.
What about DRAM? Is it essential? I saw that the WD SN5000 lacks it but it’s got decent speed.
