Looking for PC Parts Recommendations for Upgrades

I recently got a PC for my birthday, and I'm still figuring out what parts I need for it. Right now, I can run low-end games like Roblox and Stardew Valley just fine, but I struggle to stream on Discord and play higher-end games like Detroit: Become Human, which is a big reason I wanted a gaming PC in the first place. Can anyone offer suggestions or recommendations for upgrades? My budget is around $300 to $500, and I'm based in the US. I'd appreciate any help!

For starters, you might want to check your current parts using Task Manager or download CPU-Z for a more detailed breakdown. This will give you a clear picture of what you're working with. If you share that info, we can help suggest upgrades more effectively!

We really need to know your current system specs to give solid advice. Here’s what you can do:
1. Install HWInfo64 and run it in Full Mode.
2. Click 'Save Report' and select 'Summary for Clipboard.'
3. Paste that output here.
We also need to know your budget (it sounds like around $300-$500 is your target) so we can recommend accordingly!

Alright, here are my specs:
- **CPU**: Intel Core i7-8850H at 2.60 GHz
- **RAM**: 16GB DDR4
- **GPU**: AMD Radeon RX 580
- **Storage**: 1TB SSD
I'm in the US, and ideally, I want to upgrade within my $300-$500 budget.

It sounds like your setup is decent with the i7 and RX 580, but if you're still facing performance issues, consider upgrading your GPU first for better gaming performance. The RX 580 is getting a bit old; you might want to look into newer options. Make sure to also check that your PSU can handle a more powerful card. Let us know what other games you're looking to run, and we can help tailor more suggestions!

Thanks for the heads up! I mainly want to play more demanding games like DBH and maybe some others in the future. I'll check my PSU ratings and see what my options are.
