Looking for PC Upgrade Advice: GPU and CPU Suggestions Needed

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC since I've been hooked on a game called Arc. Currently, I get about 60 frames on medium to low settings using a 3440 x 1440 widescreen monitor, and I want to boost the performance without completely upgrading the whole setup, like the motherboard. My budget is around $1000. I'm considering getting a new GPU and CPU, and I have my eye on used options. Specifically, I'm thinking about the RTX 5070 or 5070 TI, or possibly the RX 7900 XT if I can snag a good deal. For the CPU, I've been looking at the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks a lot!

The Ryzen 5800X3D is getting a bit hard to find at decent prices these days. If you’re near a Micro Center, you might want to consider a combo deal for a more current AM5 setup. However, upgrading your GPU to something like the RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti will really give you a significant bump in performance. Just a heads-up, the newer 7000 series GPUs might not be worth it unless you can find a good bargain.

Definitely look into upgrading your GPU first. The 5800X3D prices are quite inflated since it’s been out of production for a while. The RTX 5070 or even the Radeon RX 9070 could get you better frames. If you still feel it's lacking after that, then think about upgrading your CPU to options like the 5600X or 5700X. Focus on the GPU first!

Quick question, are you based in the US? If you are, are there any Micro Centers nearby? They often have good deals and combo offers that could help save money!
