Hey everyone! I bought my PC a couple of years ago, and I really enjoy gaming on it. However, I work full-time and have two kids, so I don't have the time to dive deep into hardware details. I'm hoping you can help me figure out how to upgrade my PC. Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600x
- GPU: RTX 3070 Ventus 3xOC
- RAM: 16GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR4
- Motherboard: MSI B450-A PRO MAX
- PSU: 650W Corsair TX650M
I feel like my RAM and CPU might be bottlenecks for performance. What do you think are the logical next steps for upgrades? I have a budget of up to 500 euros, but I'd like to keep it under 300 if possible. Thanks so much for your help!

Definitely look into getting a 5800x or even a 5700x! Those should give you a nice boost. Most modern games actually run well on 16GB of RAM, but 32GB is a great option if you're into multitasking while gaming. Just make sure your budget allows for it!
Honestly, I'd suggest checking sites like AliExpress for a 5500x3d; they can be a lot cheaper. With 16GB of RAM, you're mostly good, but if you're playing more demanding titles, upgrading to 32GB could help. Just keep an eye on your spending!
Upgrading your CPU to something like the 5600 or 5800 series would be a great match for your RTX 3070. As for RAM, bumping it up to 32GB could really help with performance, especially in more demanding games. You've got a solid foundation already!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check around for prices.
