Looking for Programming Learning Websites Like Duolingo and Brilliant.org

I'm a big fan of the design and user experience of Duolingo and Brilliant.org. Unfortunately, I'm on a tight budget and can't afford their services. I'm wondering if there are any similar course websites that offer engaging learning styles, like gamification, streaks, and lessons, without the cost. Ideally, I'd love something that's a bit more advanced than the basics, like just printing "Hello World!" in Python. I want to delve into more complex topics, especially in JavaScript, as I'm working on building a parser, ASTs, Interpreter, and Evaluator for my own programming language.

While those sites definitely have a gamified approach to learning, I'm not convinced they effectively teach coding in practice. What language are you trying to focus on? There are often great resources that are free for the major programming languages.

I appreciate your input, but I'm really just looking for websites that mimic the engaging style of Brilliant.org. I need that structured approach with lessons and streaks to keep me motivated as I tackle JavaScript.
