Looking for Recommendations on 850W Modular Power Supplies

I'm in the market for an 850W fully modular ATX power supply that fits a white aesthetic for my build. I'm not very knowledgeable about power supply ratings like titanium, platinum, gold, or bronze, and I'm also concerned about brand reliability since a bad PSU could really damage my system. I came across this Corsair RM850E, which is known to be a reliable choice, but it's a bit on the pricey side. Can anyone recommend a good, trustworthy alternative?

I wouldn't recommend the Corsair you're considering; they've had a relatively high failure rate and sometimes use lower quality components. I'd look for something with a better track record.

Just keep in mind that anything above 850W is fine for your setup. Your system will only use as much power as it needs. As long as you choose a gold-rated or better PSU from a reputable brand, you should be in good hands.

That Corsair is solid, but if you're looking for savings, check out the SAMA G1000. It's about $90 right now and reviews say it's a capable PSU with a 5-year warranty. If you don't mind a black accent, the Vetroo GV1000 is another great option around $100 and has a 10-year warranty. They both have 850W versions that are cheaper, but at these prices, why not just go for 1000W for some extra headroom?

I appreciate the suggestions! I tend to lean towards what I need, but it's good to know there are viable alternatives out there.
